Times-Shamrock Communications has sold off its radio assets in Reno, NV. As earlier reported by Inside Radio, the company sold KRZQ (104.1) to Big Horn Media, who recently flipped the station to “Easy 104.1” with the new calls of KUEZ. Now, Lazer Broadcasting picks up the remaining stations from the Scranton, PA-based company.
Lazer is acquiring CHR “106.3 Pop FM” KWNZ, “105.3 Rock Hard” KZTI and talk KNEZ (107.3). The three stations add to the company’s existing market properties, regional Mexican “Radio Lazer 107.7” KSRN and Spanish CHR KFOY (1060).
“We are delighted to be acquiring these fine stations from our friends at Times-Shamrock as an addition to our existing cluster to better to serve the Reno market,” Lazer president Alfredo Plascencia said.
