Beasley Media Group Las Vegas has landed the local broadcast rights for the NFL’s recently relocated Raiders. Raider Nation extends into Vegas with preseason and regular season games broadcast by country “102.7 The Coyote” KCYE and “NewsTalk AM 720” KDWN beginning with the 2017-18 season.
The two-year agreement was negotiated by Compass Media Networks, who manage, produce and distribute all audio broadcasts of the Raiders.
While the team is moving from Oakland to Vegas, it will stay at the Oakland Coliseum for the 2017 and 2018 seasons while a new $1.9 billion domed stadium in the Nevada desert is constructed.
“We are absolutely thrilled to be named the official Las Vegas flagship radio partner of the Raiders,” executive VP/COO Brian Beasley said. “Our five radio properties are the perfect fit as the team makes NFL history with its exciting new move to Las Vegas. The Beasley Media Group team is committed to providing the team and our listeners with the very best sports programming and entertainment experience possible.”
The radio voice of the Raiders, Greg Papa—teamed with former Raiders quarterback and later head coach Tom Flores—will call all Raiders games. Former Raiders Pro Bowler Lincoln Kennedy rounds out the broadcast team providing sideline analysis.
Raiders games will continue to be heard in the Bay Area as Compass keeps its partnership with Entercom Communications “95.7 FM The Game” KGMZ San Francisco. Games will also be heard on the Raiders terrestrial radio network and are available on SiriusXM Radio, TuneIn and Verizon Mobile.
The Raiders also announced a partnership with “Fox5” KVVU-TV Las Vegas, which will carry all Raiders preseason games not televised by a national network partner. Fox5 will also air the weekly “Silver and Black Show” as part of the agreement.
“The Raiders are proud to announce exclusive partnerships with both KVVU Fox5 TV and Beasley Media Group,” Raiders president Marc Badain said. “The passion of Raider Nation is unrivaled and we look forward to working with both Fox5 and Beasley to bring exclusive and captivating Raiders content and coverage to Southern Nevada.”
