Correctional services have stated that Zuma is still in hospital, so it remains to be seen whether Jacob Zuma will attend his corruption trial on the arms deals, which will be heard in the Pietermaritzburg High Court today.

“We are still waiting for a doctor’s report because only the report can adequately answer the question,” Mzwanele Manyi, spokesperson for the Jacob Zuma Foundation, said on Sunday.

Die openbare beskermer, Busisiwe Mkhwebane, het die konstitusionele hof genader om te versoek dat dit hul verklaring dat sy die Uitvoerende Etiese Kode “verander het” as deel van haar ondersoek na die ‘CR17’ -veldtog vir befondsing, herroep, omdat hulle glo van twee verskillende weergawes van die Uitvoerende Etiese Kode lees. 

Die hof het vroeër vandeesmaand beweer dat Mkhwebane die bewoording van die kode “verander” het en tot die gevolgtrekking gekom het dat Cyril Ramaphosa die wetgewer “per ongeluk of doelbewus” mislei het. Die hof het toe ook Mkhwebane se appèl teen die uitspraak van die hooggeregshof in Pretoria, van die hand gewys, wat in Maart verlede jaar ‘n verslag ter syde gestel het waarin sy bevind het dat Ramaphosa die parlement mislei het, oor die finansiering van sy omstrede veldtog om in 2017 tot ANC-president verkies te word.

Zuma branded as defaulter, owes R12,517 for unpaid school fees, maybe he must consider subsidy?

It is not only the arrears of the Nkandla bond that make Zuma a defaulter, but also the fact that his children’s unpaid school fees earns him the title.

The liquidators of the bankrupt declared VBS Bank now hope to get their money by auctioning the Nkandla unit, but it is still a lengthy process before it is going to happen.

Political analysts say Zuma has the ability to postpone all actions and court cases against him with reasons that are sometimes somewhat laughable.

Whether the former ANC leader has no money and whether he is merely a defaulter remains an unanswered question, because to date one of his children’s school fees is also overdue.

A high school near Durban has now issued an order against Zuma and his fourth wife, one Nompumelelo Ntuli, 44, for unpaid school fees amounting to R12,517-00.

Reona Ramnarain, of the Bentley Attorneys, confirmed that the bill was unpaid, but the school’s name was not disclosed for some reasons.

Radovan Krejcir says he recorded a meeting where he gave millions to the Zuma family, in exchange for political asylum in South Africa.

It wouldn’t be a Tuesday morning without catching up with the latest developments from the murky world of Jacob Zuma. It’s a case of another week, and another grubby revelation regarding corruption, as convicted gangster Radovan Krejcir has submitted a detailed affidavit to the police.

Who is Radovan Krejcir?
As City Press report, Krejcir is currently serving 35 years behind bars for drug-dealing, kidnapping and the attempted murder of Bhekithemba Lukhele in June 2013.

However, back in 2011, he claims that he attempted to fast-track himself to political asylum in South Africa, paying a visit to the Zuma homestead.
